Troop 11 is located in Piedmont, California.  We are part of the small but mighty Piedmont Council. Scouts typically come from the local communities of Piedmont and Oakland.  We have 50-60 scouts ages 11-17, both boys and girls. Troop 11 is "scout led" but also relies on active parent participation to support the scouts and overall troop functionality.   Troop meetings are generally held Monday nights during the school year at the Piedmont Community Church. We have monthly outings. Outings often include a campout and a planned activity. During the winter, the troop goes on a ski trip and weather permitting a snow camping trip.  Summer months typically include a few different options such as Scout camp and 30-50 mile backpacking trips.
