Who We Are
We are chartered by Trinity Baptist Church in Katy, Texas, and have been around since BSA Scouts expanded to allow girl units in February 2019. Our regular troop meetings are Monday evenings at 7:00 at the church (10000 Spring Green Blvd.). Meetings typically last about one and a half hours and run during the school year, with some activities planned during the summer.

BSA Mission Statement
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
BSA Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
BSA Scout Law
A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
How Do I Join?
Getting started in our Troop is quite easy. Youth can join a Scout troop who are 11, but not yet 18 years old, have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light rank and are at least 10 years old.
The yearly cost to join the troop is approximately $204, which includes $94 BSA membership and $110 for the cost of running the Troop for items such as advancement badges, camping equipment, storage unit etc. Here is a direct link to an online application for Troop 418 (youth or adult). If you wish, you can also complete a printed BSA application and turn it into the troop.
There are some additional costs, including a BSA Handbook and BSA uniform. Additional supplies and equipment may be needed for certain activities such as camping trips or field days.
