Welcome To Troop 127

Boy Scout Troop 127 from Crystal Lake, Il is sponsored by the Notre Dame Club of McHenry County (NDCMC).  The troop meets at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Crystal Lake.  Our typical meeting dates are on Mondays from 7-8:30 pm.  We are a very active troop with a lot of activities throughout the year.  There is at least one weekend campout a month.  We also try to have another day activity each month.  It is important to note that the troop is led by the boys with the scout leaders being present in an advisery role.  We fully embrace the BSA principle of building our boy's leadership skills.   The scouts not only decide their activities, but they organize them as well. The troop is also very service oriented and we have many service activities planned throughout the year.  With this emphasis on leadership and service a lot of the scouts follow the scout path to Eagle and complete this requirement.
