Troop 95 has a legacy of providing Scouting opportunities to youth in the Birmingham area since 1939.

Troop meetings are Monday evenings at Shades Valley Lutheran Church
(720 Shades Creek Parkway near Highway 280)

Membership is open to boys and girls ages 11-18.

Our troop follows the time-tested Patrol Method, guided by the Mission, Vision, Aims and Methods of Scouting America.

Monthly outdoor excursions include backpacking, camping, kayaking, skiing, archery, cooking and other skills-based activities. Scouts also have opportunities to attend summer camp, high adventure bases, and advanced leadership courses,

Scouts advance in rank by demonstrating skills, doing community service, and by showing leadership in the troop. They explore vocations and hobbies by earning Merit Badges.
