Welcome to Troop 95!

Boy Scout Troop 95 has been serving the community of Downers Grove, IL since 1956. We are proud of having an extremely active and motivated troop under the direction of our Scoutmaster, Andrew Flowers, and a very dedicated parent group!

We meet every Monday night (except holidays) at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on the Lower Level of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. We follow Scouting tradition by being a "Boy Led" Troop and operating by the "Patrol Method". This means that the boys manage most aspects of the Troop's operations with the guidance of our adult leaders.

We put the "OUTING" in SCOUTING by having an exciting Outdoor Program that involves Monthly Campouts (year round), week-long Summer Camp and various High Adventure opportunities like Canoe Trips, Philmont Backpacking Treks and National Jamborees.

The Leaders of Troop 95 are dedicated to teaching youth to live the Scout Values everyday. They build character by emphasizing leadership and self reliance. The Scouts learn essential life skills through Rank Advancements, Leadership positions and various topics explored in the Merit Badge Program. These Scouting opportunities have resulted in 80 boys, and counting, acheiving the honorable rank of Eagle Scout in our Troop!
