Venturing is a youth-led program all about building adventures with your friends. Choose to do activities that matter to you and develop essential skills like leadership, event-planning, organization, communication, and responsibility while having a blast!

Venturing BSA, Crew 1506 is Chartered by Peace Lutheran Church and was founded in 2021 to provide an opportunity for high adventure for older youth in the community not interested in the traditional scouting program. 

Crew 1506 is "Range and Target Activities" focused. Venturers are approved to shoot the same firearms as Scouts BSA and may also shoot 22 rifles, pistols, and Shotguns. An exception is they may not shoot fully automatic firearms. We also are approved for Archery, Black Powder, Tomahawk, and Cowboy action. Our focus may be Marksmanship, but that doesn't hold us back from hiking, backpacking, boating and other activities!

We meet at the Tracyton Scout Hall; located at 5164 Bunker St NE, Tracyton on the Second and last Thursdays of each month at 5 PM (except holidays). On the other monthly Thursday nights we meet elsewhere for practice shooting. Please contact us in advance at beascout@crew1506.org if you would like visit our meetings or practice.
